Effective date: 23 June 2026

1. Overview

Pockit POS provides business management tools for customers, products, inventory, orders, invoices, quotations, expenses, reports, subscriptions, and related records. This policy explains how information is handled when you visit our website, create an account, or use the service.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account and business details, including names, email addresses, phone numbers, business type, address, and login credentials.
  • Information entered into the service, such as customer contacts, products, inventory, orders, quotations, invoices, expenses, notes, and business branding.
  • Subscription and payment information, including selected packages, payment amounts, payment status, and uploaded payment slips.
  • Technical information needed to operate and secure the service, such as session data, browser information, and basic usage or error records.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to create and manage accounts, provide requested features, generate business documents, maintain subscriptions, offer support, protect accounts, troubleshoot errors, improve reliability, and comply with applicable legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.

4. Your Customer and Business Data

You remain responsible for the customer and business information you enter into Pockit POS, including having an appropriate reason or permission to collect and use it. Pockit POS processes this information only to provide the service and related support. Account users should avoid entering unnecessary sensitive information into notes or other free-text fields.

5. Sharing and Third-Party Services

Information may be shared with service providers only when reasonably necessary for hosting, storage, communication, security, payment review, or technical support. When you choose a WhatsApp action, you leave Pockit POS and WhatsApp's own privacy terms apply. We may also disclose information where required by law, to prevent fraud or harm, or as part of a legitimate business transfer.

6. Cookies, Storage, and Security

Pockit POS uses essential session cookies or similar browser storage to keep users signed in and maintain secure account sessions. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect stored information. No online system can guarantee absolute security, so users should maintain strong passwords, protect their devices, and contact support if unauthorized access is suspected.

7. Data Retention

Information is retained while an account is active and for a reasonable period afterward where needed for service continuity, payment and refund records, dispute resolution, security, backups, or legal obligations. Some deleted customers or products may be replaced with anonymous or removed-record labels so existing invoices, orders, inventory movements, and financial records remain accurate.

8. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of personal information associated with your account. Some records may need to be retained where legally required or necessary to preserve legitimate payment and transaction history. You may also update many account and business details directly through Pockit POS.

9. Children and Policy Changes

Pockit POS is intended for business users and is not directed to children. We may update this policy as the service or legal requirements change. Material updates will be reflected by revising the effective date and, where appropriate, providing additional notice.
